My Skincare Routine

Happy Labor Day, ladies! Today I’m teaming up with and sharing with you my night-time skincare regime. As we all know skincare is extremely important. I try my best to stay on top of taking care of my skin so that I’m not regretting it down the road…IMG_1016My nightly skincare routine is quick an easy. First, I use a cream based cleanser to wash off my make-up. I love the Neutrogena’s Deep Clean Cream Cleanser because it makes my face feel fresh and clean.IMG_1038

Once a week I use an exfoliating mask to wash away dead skin. I love  Ole Henriksen truth sugar glow  because its not too harsh on my skin and it smells amazing! I apply the sugar base scrub and leave it on for 5 to 8 minutes. IMG_1047Lastly, I moisturize my face. I’m all for preventatives so I use  Olay Anti- Wrinkle Cream . I would love to delay the wrinkling process for as long as I can. (lol) This moisturizer is light weight which is awesome!t6 5 b4IMG_1074xoxo

I recently did a little online shopping at Forever21. This store is one of my go-to places to shop because the price is always right! For example, this long sleeved dress was only $15 bucks!
sept1These booties are for sure a show stopper. Yesterday, I wore this outfit and received soo many complements over these bad boys.. A girl even stopped me in Target to compliment them! LOL  I have such a weakness for anything gold because it’s classic.

70’s Vibes

Lace, funky prints, and flared pants is the perfect combination of a 70’s styled look. I love how the 70’s are back because flared pants are a fall staple.  Since these embellished pants are rather busy, I choose this lace top to complete my look. It’s comfy, yet chic and that’s what I’m all about.. Hope y’all have a great weekend(:

Craving me some Camel

When it came to budgeting I was never the type of girl to “save money for a rainy day.” I went out every weekend and  spend money like I was a baller (which is clearly not the case) AND when making that trip to the mall, pshhh! I always listened to that devil on my shoulder and bought the damn purse! Yolo..Right?! Way back in January, one of my new years resolutions was to smarten up and start saving some money.. Let’s just say it’s a work in progress lol I haven’t splurged on myself in a longg time, so clearly I’m doing something right.  With that being said, I think it’s time to reward myself! I’m currently craving the perfect camel coat. It’s such a classic wardrobe piece that’s definitely a great investment. Here are some options I like! What’s an item you would splurge on? I’d love to hear!Camel Coat

Today I’m keepin’ it laid-back and effortless for Labor Day. I’m soo happy that the summer has come to an end. Don’t get me wrong my summer was eventful. I got to go on multiple vacations with both family and friends, relaxed on the beach, got my 1-2 step on quite a few times; ate and drank like a “boss”.. (Btw my booties paying for it now)  So overall it was a fun summer but now it’s back to school and work- A.K.A back to having a structured schedule. Plus fall is where it’s at!! Nothing but pumpkin spice lattes and oversized knit sweaters. Not to mention my boyfriend’s in the navy and finishing up his final deployment,  he’ll be home in two months-ish ..AHHH Can’t wait!!
Along with today’s #ootd, I’ve also shared some of my favorite holiday sale items..hope you enjoy!
Happy shopping y’all!!
Turtleneck tanks are a great transitional piece for the fall.. How you ask? Simply by layering a jacket or a plaid shirt over it will get you more uses out of this garment.

I wear these pants time and time again because I’m obsessed! They are perfect for those days were you don’t feel like putting much effort into your outfit because you either feel like fat slob or a bum.. We’ve all been there people!

Today I’m bring the illusion of a jumpsuit..but shh! it’s not(; This tops from Express and pants are from Zara. They matched perfectly so I had to pair them together to make a 70’s chic look! I added my own personal touch by completing this look with a metal statement necklace from Aldo Accessories.
